I was born in Budapest, in 1953. I took my school-leaving examination at Vörösmarty Grammar School's drawing section.
After graduating I was working as an apprentice at the Cotton Manufacturing Company of Óbuda, and at the same time I learned gobeline weaving from Gitta Rábai, headmaster of the Gobeline workshop of the Art Foundation.
In 1974 I was admitted to the gobeline faculty of the Academy of applied arts, where I took a degree in gobeline and carpet making artist. My masters were: Charles Plesnivy and Steve Eigel.
I prepared my diplomapiece to the Museum of Mining Industry and in 1981 it was planted in he hostelry of the director of the Museum.

Since 1999 I am a member of the Hungarian Gobeline Artists Society.
